About the Role:

As a Director for the SEA Markets, you will develop the Association strategies for SEA region and through that delivering the goals for the region following the Association strategy.

You\'ll report into the Regional Vice President of Global Market Management.

You Will:

  • Lead a team of people, following the Association\xe2\x80\x99s Management Charter, with managing people being the primary responsibility.
  • Lead the Association\xe2\x80\x99s Management Charter accountabilities.
  • Take ownership of the plans, strategies and budgets for SEA to meet goals and provide leadership to local Country Managers within SEA team.
  • Promote and grow advocacy initiatives with local government ministries, regulatory & association bodies, and important employers within the SEA region.
  • Build revenue generating opportunities through selling CIMA\xe2\x80\x99s products and services
  • Identify potential to maximize opportunities for The Association, in attracting and retaining students and members and increasing brand profile.
  • Strategize and plan initiatives for student progression and members retention.
  • Develop senior contacts among targeted employers, education providers, and professional bodies to promote CIMA.
  • Maintain solid knowledge of SEA Market and identify business opportunity or risk for the planned activities.
  • Regional Initiatives - Work with regional team to manage activities in the region.
  • Deliver a high level of impact for CIMA work in the region and ensure that planned activities in the SEA region are aligned with Regional Strategy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Sr. Managers/Managers- Country Manager- Malaysia, Emerging Markets, Singapore & Indonesia
You Have:
  • Minimum degree in Business or Marketing, with a background in sales/marketing.
  • Experience in sales and account management.
  • Need to understand the long-term plan of the government, and how to present initiatives that are suitable for the government.
  • Possesses the ability to understand the channel partner\xe2\x80\x99s team strengths and weaknesses, some accounts need more hand-holding while some need more pushing.
  • People Management skills: the ability to motivate a team of professionals
  • Examples of building relationships with senior level management
  • The ability to develop and implement solutions involving teams from across CIMA and 3rd parties
  • Project management \xe2\x80\x93 ability to apply project management techniques to ensure projects are well implemented.
  • Creativity and New ideas \xe2\x80\x93 look at challenges or objectives in new ways and facilitate these
  • Analytical approach \xe2\x80\x93 ability to analyse data to inform decision-making
  • Understanding of business processes and how they partner with marketing activity.
  • Ability to use business processes to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Knowledge of the local education sector in SEA
  • Knowledge of all areas of the marketing, PR mix and how to apply them in both commercial and not-for-profit industries.
