We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Document Controller
to join our team at a construction site in
Perlis
. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining all site documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating communication between the project team, contractors, and clients by ensuring all documents are properly controlled and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control all incoming and outgoing project documents in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain and update document control systems to track revisions, approvals, and distribution of documents.
Ensure all site documentation including contracts, permits, drawings, reports, and correspondence is properly filed and easily retrievable.
Coordinate document flow between the site team, contractors, consultants, and clients.
Prepare and process site-related documents such as transmittals, submission logs, purchase orders, invoices, and progress claims.
Organize and schedule document reviews, approvals, and distribution timelines.
Assist in the preparation of site reports, daily logs, and progress updates.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure smooth administrative operations.
Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and handling correspondence.
Ensure strict adherence to document control protocols and support compliance with company policies and site safety regulations.
Requirements:
Education:
Minimum of a
Diploma
or equivalent in
Administration, Business Management, Document Control, or a related field
.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience
in a document control or administrative role, preferably within the
construction industry
.
Skills:
Proficient in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document control software/tools.
Strong knowledge of
document control practices
and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Familiarity with construction terminology and site operations is an advantage.
Ability to handle sensitive documents and maintain confidentiality.
Language:
Proficiency in
Bahasa Malaysia and English
(written and spoken).
Other Requirements:
Ability to work
on-site in Kuala Perlis
.
Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Valid
driver's license
.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
