Job Description
- Position: Freight Documentation Officer.
- Salary: RM 2500-3500.
- Location: Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.
In this particular instant, you will be joining a well established international freight forwarding client who is looking for a Documentation Officer to take full responsibility for the preparation of punctual and precise documentation for all destinations across 5 five continents worldwide. The successful applicant must have good telephone manner as this role requires extensive liaison with Clients, Overseas agents, shipping lines.
Responsibilities/Main Duties:
- Ensure correct profiles are chosen or created for all parties.
- Confirm the Bill of Lading is in compliance with the master submitted by the shipper/forwarder.
- Complete timely amendments to bills of lading.
- Ensure all related charges are protected on the bill of lading and proper cost accounts are in place.
- Actively seek required documentation from the shippers.
- Prepare and maintain vessel files.
- Assist customers/agents with questions, complaints, requests or track and trace schedule of shipments.
- Dispatch documentation to the clients.
- Prepare and issue clients/agents invoices.
Female with previous experience within a documentation/shipping administration role. Must be educated up to diploma or degree level.
Good customer service skills is required.
Good mathematics and IT skills.
Must be proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Be able to work at Kelana Jaya area.
