for Draughtsman

Responsibilities

Technical Drawing Excellence: Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and comprehensive schematics using AutoCAD and other CAD software Multi-Disciplinary Design Support: Create professional technical drawings for mechanical, civil, electrical, and structural projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Specification Analysis: Review engineering specifications and technical documents to develop accurate drawings that translate concepts into implementable solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and client expectations. Design Revision Management: Efficiently revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes while maintaining version control. Documentation: Maintain organized drawing files, records, and technical documentation for easy retrieval and reference. Technical Support: Assist in preparing bills of materials, drawing indexes, and other essential technical documents for project execution. Compliance: Ensure all drafting work complies with relevant industry codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements:

Educational Background: Candidates with a Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related fields. Professional Experience: Proven experience as a draftsman in engineering environments, demonstrating competency in technical drawing and design processes. CAD Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other relevant CAD software packages. M&E Knowledge: Understanding electrical and mechanical systems design principles, and related technical specifications. Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering specifications accurately. Communication: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Advanced Abilities: Experience with 3D modeling software and effective multitasking skills are highly valued. A team player capable to communicate effectively with all levels.
