Job Summary:

We are searching for a professional, discreet, and reliable

Driver cum Bodyguard

to ensure the Director's safe and comfortable transportation to work, events, and other appointments. This role includes driving responsibilities, vehicle upkeep, and providing close personal protection to the Director and family members during travel and public engagements.

Job Responsibilities

Driving Duties:

Safely drive the Director and/or his/her family members to and from authorized destinations. Transport the employer's relatives, visitors, business partners, and associates as directed. Plan routes in advance, considering traffic, weather, and timing to ensure punctual arrival. Comply with all traffic rules, safety regulations, and road signs at all times. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition (e.g., tyres, engine, fuel). Schedule regular vehicle servicing and promptly report any issues or needed repairs. Keep proper records for maintenance, mileage, fuel, and trip logs. Ensure the vehicle always has a minimum of tank of fuel. Work overtime when required, unless attending to emergencies (with valid documentation).

Bodyguard / Security Duties:

Provide personal protection for the Director and family, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Assess travel routes and surroundings for potential risks before and during trips. Accompany the Director safely to and from vehicles and destinations. Maintain vigilance and situational awareness in all environments. Coordinate with event or venue security when necessary. Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies or security threats. Exercise confidentiality and discretion regarding the Director's schedule and private matters. Remain physically and mentally prepared for long or unpredictable hours.

Requirements & Skills:

Proven experience as a professional driver; experience in personal security or bodyguarding is an added advantage. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50). Familiarity with GPS devices and strong knowledge of local routes and neighborhoods. Trained in defensive or evasive driving (preferred). Physically fit, alert, and capable of handling emergencies. A polite, professional, and discreet demeanor. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or unexpected situations. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights when required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
