Job Summary:

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services for hotel guests, VIPs, and management, ensuring the highest standards of Sofitel service. The role supports the Concierge team in delivering smooth arrival, departure, and guest transfer experiences with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Transportation

Provide safe and timely driving services for guest transfers, airport pick-ups and drop-offs, official errands, and special requests. Assist guests with luggage handling and ensure comfort throughout the journey. Anticipate guest needs and provide courteous, personalized service aligned with Sofitel's luxury brand standards.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

Maintain all hotel vehicles in excellent condition, ensuring cleanliness, fuel, and readiness for operation at all times. Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel level, tires, oil, lights, etc.) and report any maintenance issues promptly to the Concierge or Engineering team. Keep accurate trip logs, mileage, and fuel records.

Concierge & Guest Service Support

Coordinate transport schedules with the Concierge team and other departments. Assist with guest inquiries, directions, and local area information when required. Support the Concierge desk with guest assistance duties as needed.

Compliance & Safety

Hold and maintain a valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) license and other relevant driving authorizations. Comply with all traffic regulations, hotel policies, and safety procedures. Handle guest belongings with utmost care and maintain confidentiality at all times. Remain calm and act responsibly in the event of vehicle breakdowns or emergencies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent. Valid Malaysian Driving License (Class D)

with PSV License

. Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel or corporate setting. Excellent knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley routes, airports, and major landmarks. Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and professional communication skills. Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
