In one sentence

We are looking for E2E Cloud Architects who will be responsible for 3 major activities across IT & Infra across BSS, OSS and any other CSP enterprise domains:

• Solution strategy blueprint covering technical, functional, operational and delivery aspects
• Consulting initiatives for the CSP client in an individual capacity or as a team to showcase Amdocs thought leadership, inject value to generate consulting led sales
• Contribution to the market positioning through active industry participation and through other medium (ex. Blogs, White Papers)

The role also necessitates right qualifying of opportunities along with Amdocs account team and sales- team, understanding customer requirements, solution creation in line with customer expectations & Amdocs value addition, ensuring cost effectiveness, business case modelling, negotiations and closure

What will your job look like?

For both reactive and proactive proposals, you shall:

• Drive common Cloud architecture across the IT & Infra domains
• Drive business, technology, security, delivery and operational assessment and define target blueprint for all these key dimensions
• The target blueprint should drive Amdocs theme of "Taking industry to cloud" and have public, private or multi-cloud deployment strategies
• You will also define and drive new ways of working through CI/CD, DevOps following Agile framework
• Define a glide path to deliver the target blueprint with various business, customer, operational KPIs delivered at each maturity stage
• Act as a liaison between CBG (Customer Business Group) and PBG (Product Business Group) to define target software blueprint to strongly position Amdocs products & services
• Work with various CBG teams to identify customer and industry trends with high business impact and define Amdocs response
• Critically review commercials and contract position to deliver SI programs
• Influence and align Amdocs products technology roadmap and strategy for the opportunities
• Participate/influence the industry initiatives (including open-source/interface) relevant to System Integrators
• Encapsulate, drive and follow standards, market/technology trends, and the competitive landscape to define and align services long-term strategy

All you need is...

• Strong consultative led solutioning and sales experience
• BS Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science) and MS preferred
• 12 -17 years of relevant ICT experience including strong Enterprise Architecture experience
• Experience working with pre sales solutions engagement across multiples account in APAC region
• Experience in Driving common Cloud architecture across the IT & Infra domains
• Experience on Cloud strategy, assessment, migrations, design.
• Exp in Working with telecommunication industry, preferably in the field of BSS, OSS, TM Forum etc
• Experience communicating to executive and C-Suite audience

It would be great if you have...

• Additional experience in hybrid infra orchestration, cloud operations, FinOps, Cloud Security will be favored.
• Strong experience and certifications in AWS and / or Azure. Knowhow of GCP / OCP and any other hypervisors will be good to have.
• Be engaged and aware of the vision for the opportunities through involvement in industry forums such as TMF, ETSI
• Understanding of the delivery models (CI/CD, DevOps)
• Highly assertive with clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
• Highly positive work attitude with a belief in "Art of possibilities"
