Job Description

 

We are hiring Purchasing, Executive to support projects in soft furnishing materials by liaison with local suppliers and China Team at competitive pricing and terms.

- To source and purchase materials from local and overseas suppliers at competitive pricing and terms.
- Prepare purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, gain better terms and meet the project schedule.
- Preparation of procurement and plan of delivery schedule reports for management review.
- To maintain accurate record of P.O.; monitor outstanding orders from suppliers and do necessary follow-up.
- To Monitor Delivery schedule and attend to progressive claims for each project site.
- To liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure efficiency of the purchasing. (Oversea and Local)
- Compile & compare the quotation from various suppliers. (Oversea and Local)
- Monitor delivery process; ensure the goods are received on time in the current quantity and quality as stated in PO.
- Preparation of payment requisition form, matching job (Invoice, DO & PO) before submission to Finance & Accounts Dept.
- To guide inspection, stock and quality control and attend project meeting.
- Monitor the stocks (warehouse) and delivery as per schedule. 
- To review tender project documents, and product specification.
- Quantity taking off as per tender documents.
- Prepare Comparison price for Management review and approval.
- Prepare Tender submission with related documents.
- To review and provide recommendations on process and system improvement.
- To support other value chain activities as and when directed by the Management.
- Work Closely with Project teams, recognise problem, evaluate alternative/solution if any.
- Undertake other assigned tasks as required.

Job Requirement
- At least 3 years' working experience in the Construction, Interiors & Fit-Out/ loose furniture industry or related field is required for this position.
- Must be able to speak, write and read in Mandarin, in order to deal with China counterparts.
