Role Description
We are seeking a
full-time, on-site E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Executive
to join our team based in
Selayang, Selangor
.
As an E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a central part in driving online sales and enhancing
Weng Cheong Electrical's
digital footprint.. Your responsibilities will include managing e-commerce platforms, running digital marketing campaigns, optimizing listings, and creating engaging content to enhance visibility, customer engagement, and conversions.
This role requires both analytical skills and creative thinking, as you will work closely with internal teams
,
including Brand & Social Media Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. You will also monitor platform performance, track campaign results, analyze market trends, and continuously refine strategies to maximize online sales and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-Commerce Platform Management & Growth
Manage product listings, pricing, product descriptions, and visuals across
Shopee, Lazada, etc
, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the company's brand standards.
Decorate and update online stores in preparation for upcoming events, seasonal promotions, or sales campaigns (e.g., 11.11, Raya Sale, Payday Sale) to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
Plan and execute online campaigns and promotions across all e-commerce platforms to increase visibility, boost traffic, enhance brand awareness, and drive sales.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve online store performance, optimize listings and promotions, enhance conversion rates, and maximize overall customer experience.
Monitor product and campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to maximize visibility, engagement, and revenue.
Plan and update the online product portfolio monthly by identifying new products to add, working closely with the
Sales team
to align with inventory availability, market demand, and business objectives.
Stay updated with platform policies, tools, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage and ensure continued growth.
2. Order Management & Operations
Check all platform orders daily across
Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop
to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.
Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate accurate and efficient packing and delivery of orders.
Resolve any issues with customer orders, including payment errors, missing items, delivery delays, or complaints, to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Monitor order statuses, proactively identify potential problems, and implement solutions to prevent delays or errors.
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and fulfillment activities for reporting and performance tracking purposes.
3. Customer Service & Satisfaction
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across all e-commerce platforms, including
Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop
, and
WhatsApp
.
Maintain consistently high customer satisfaction and ratings by providing timely and effective support, addressing questions, concerns, or complaints.
Monitor reviews, feedback, and customer interactions to identify areas for improvement and ensure the brand's reputation is upheld.
Coordinate with internal teams as needed to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth service across all channels.
4. Reporting, Analytics & Strategy
Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports summarizing sales performance, campaign effectiveness, product performance, and order fulfillment for management review.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize listings, promotions, campaigns, and overall e-commerce strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams, including
Marketing, Sales, and Operations
, to align e-commerce initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure cohesive execution.
Continuously evaluate strategies to drive online growth, increase traffic, enhance brand awareness, and improve overall store performance.
Qualifications
Minimum
1 year of experience
in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably managing platforms such as
Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and etc
.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, online campaigns, promotions, and order management.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns and product listings effectively.
Proficient in
basic digital visuals and promotional materials
, with the ability to create simple graphics for e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with
Canva
or other creative tools is preferred.
Strong understanding of the online market and consumer behavior, including analyzing competitor performance and identifying opportunities to improve product sales.
Excellent with numbers and data analysis, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and insights. Proficient in
Excel
and other Microsoft Office tools to support e-commerce management, reporting, and ad planning.
Experience in
ad budgeting and campaign planning
to drive sales and maximize ROI.
Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights for growth.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with internal teams such as
Marketing, Sales, and Operations
.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple platforms, campaigns, and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
