You will help educate and inform our readers (senior executives and industry specialists) through articles, case studies, white papers, press releases and social media posts. Together with the internal marketing team, we will deliver interesting and engaging business-related content about our Services and the many Industries we operate in. Working alongside another writer, design support, and digital marketing staff, the Business Writer supports the team during all stages of the creative and content development process, including writing and editing. The Business writer will collaborate with senior stakeholders to build relationships, take interviews to develop briefs and content. He/she also reports on content status and actively follows up on actions required from stakeholders or suppliers, overseeing the full content development cycle. The Business Writer will work in an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment and will work from home. Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating clearly and effectively: One of the primary responsibilities of a business writer is to communicate information clearly and effectively to the intended professional audience. This involves writing case studies, articles, white papers, professional social media blurbs and forms of PR communication.
  • Conducting research: To conduct research and interviews to gather information and data to support their writing. This could involve analyzing industry trends, conducting interviews, or reviewing company documents.
  • Adhering to company style guidelines: Follow business style guidelines on formatting, tone, and use of language.
  • Collaborating with other departments: The business writer often needs to work closely with other departments, such as marketing or senior consultants, to develop content.
  • Meeting deadlines: Work efficiently and meet deadlines, especially when working on time-sensitive projects.
  • Editing and revising: Responsibility for reviewing and revising your own work, as well as the work of others, to ensure that it is relevant, error-free and meets the required standards.
  • Adapting to different audiences: Adapt your writing style, tone and content to different audiences and industries.
Required Experience & Skills The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

A degree in Business related discipline (preferred). Minimum Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years as a Business Writer or similar professional writing role.

  • Demonstrated strong professional business writing skills.
  • Business knowledge.
  • Research skills.
  • Editing and proofreading skills.
  • Computer literate.
