This role involves supporting medium to large projects in substation design, unit and system engineering, and procurement, alongside lead and senior engineers. Key responsibilities include developing, modifying, and maintaining automation software, providing technical support across the Asia region, and managing PLC automation, SCADA, and HMI programming, with occasional overseas travel.Design and develop electrical power systems, covering generation, transmission, and distribution, with a focus on technical analysis, design calculations, and drawing preparation.Conduct comprehensive power system studies, including fault level calculations, protection relay settings, and secondary cable requirements, and prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for design reviews and project meetings.Provide on-site support for project activities, including supervision, testing, commissioning, and auditing, to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.Design medium and low voltage distribution systems, including single-line diagrams, load lists, cable sizing, and motor starter circuitry, along with instrumentation and control systems for automated process plants.Develop PLC programs and structured code for automation and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and implementing real-time control algorithms for machinery and process automation.Oversee project timelines, risk analysis, testing procedures (FAT, SAT), and training, ensuring seamless handover and operational readiness for end users.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on control systems, perform corrective actions, and provide preventive maintenance support to optimize automation equipment performance.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of control systems, maintain project documentation, and conduct user training as needed for successful project delivery.Great Culture and Lots of Opportunities|Multinational Company
