Responsibilities

• To perform the electrical system pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning activities of all CLIENT premise plant / facility including HV and LV electrical systems (onshore & offshore) and ensure all construction & (pre)commissioning ITRs (checksheets) are witnessed and signed off in accordance with project technical requirement and company HSSE standards
• To ensure that the site electrical facility/equipment & person are complied to company ESR and local statutory requirement such as EIU, DEPs, IEC & IECEX.
• To establish system definition & demarcation, priority and prepare / update ITRs (check sheets) overview based on approved guideline for electrical commissioning activities. Also lead the generating / updating ITRs (checksheet)
• To contribute in preparation of the commissioning execution plan & schedule and workflow for both onshore pre-comm/commissioning and offshore CSU of electrical engineering related
• To review and comment on contractor commissioning deliverable such as CTP, fabrication execution plan, workpack, commissioning material and consumable.
• To work together with engineering /design team provide inputs to improve operability / maintainability /HAZOP to ensure facilities integrity, and incorporate requirement for (pre)commissioning and start up, especially the provision of commissioning consumables and spares
• To coordinate with project / construction team on construction mechanical completion and interface with other discipline commissioning engineers for integrated system testing and commissioning activities and ensure all the temporary equipment are available
• To supervise electrical related punchlists/outstanding works with plan/priority in place and technically sign off and close-out of punch list items
• To work with ORA team to ensure that all electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities are performed to their requirements and all performance tests of safety critical elements meet their performance standards requirements
• To review and ensure completeness and accuracy of systems handover documentation and implement the project completion management system.
• To verify the accuracy and completeness of the \xe2\x80\x9cAs Built\xe2\x80\x9d drawing; perform \'red line\' mark-up.
• To support project for the delivery of electrical testing - related FPD initiatives and square start-up.
• To provide training and coach for new commissioning engineers & commissioning technicians.
• Stand in as LCE if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent, with minimum 8-year hands-on-the-job experience in Oil & Gas facilities and 4-year experience project commissioning in electrical system.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership/influencing skills
• Computer literate and skilled user of MS Office, familiar with Project Completion System
• Having hands-on-the-job working experience Electrical system commissioning with instrumentation in system setup, loop check, HV and LV voltage system testing, motor solo run test, generator commissioning and overall process system for wellhead platform, compression module, power generation (diesel or turbine generator) project.
• Familiar and hand-on prepare the testing check sheet, Commissioning test plan and procedure.
• Must have minimum four (4) year experience working related with Electrical system pre-commissioning, commissioning and system hand-over.

Professional Skills

• Possess a Certified High Voltage Chargeman B0/H1 or low voltage generation chargeman Competency from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia (Energy Commission) or Sarawak Electrical Inspectorate Unit, will be an added advantage
• Shall have hands on pre-commissioning and commissioning experience with High and Low Voltage Switchgears, Motor Control Center and Distribution Boards, UPS and Battery Chargers, Power Generators (preferable with GTG), Power Transformers, turbine compressors, emergency diesel generators, instrument air compressors, heat exchangers, pedestal crane, chemical injection systems, Variable speed drive (VSD) for pump control system, Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) system.
• Shall be able to perform interface test of electrical system (IMCS) with control system and verify/ensure that information presented at DCS is correct
• Shall have added advantage to have hands on commissioning experience in solar power generation system, Micro Turbine Generator System, Power Management System (PMS) and Load Shedding System
• Shall have sound grounding experience and be able to develop black start-up plan for offshore execution
• Must be knowledgeable in using electrical testing and commissioning tools and equipment.
• Able to supervise and manage a site team or a team of commissioning Electricians and act as Lead Commissioning Engineer (LCE) for short period while the LCE is absent.
• Must undertake High Voltage switching (6.6 and 11 KV) commissioning work at COMPANY\'s facilities.
• Must have sound knowledge in Completion Management System (CMS)
• Knowledge for the Electrical Safety Rules.
• Must have knowledge on Ex inspection on equipment requirements.

Location

Initially to be based at KL. Thereafter, Bintulu based

Travel to Bintulu and Johor upon request by Client

Medical Fit for onshore and offshore

Willing to go to offshore and travel by air or water transport
