Responsible for supporting electrical and electronic engineering activities within the manufacturing environment, including PLC programming, troubleshooting, and project support. The role works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Accountabilities
Support and maintain electrical and electronic systems for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Perform PLC programming, modification, and basic troubleshooting to support production needs.
Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Provide technical support for production issues and breakdowns related to electrical and control systems.
Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors when required.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Relevant technical knowledge in electrical, electronic, and control systems.
1-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience in automotive manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Well-versed in PLC systems and industrial automation, with the ability to program, troubleshoot, and optimize production control systems.
