Position Overview:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical engineering, particularly in system design, troubleshooting, and project implementation. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Professional certification or registration with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia) is an advantage

Experience Required:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in electrical engineering or related industries is preferred.

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Experience in electrical system design, wiring layout, and electrical load calculations.

Preferably experienced in project execution, site supervision, and compliance with local regulations and standards (e.g., MS IEC, Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and review electrical systems and schematics for residential, commercial, or industrial projects Perform load analysis, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection Prepare and review technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and project documentation Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations Liaise with consultants, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory bodies for approvals and coordination Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning phases Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline management Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, CIDB)

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) Solid understanding of Malaysian electrical codes and safety standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good project coordination and communication abilities Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and quality Willing to travel to project sites when required

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
