Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for providing technical support to the production facilities, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, machinery and utilities within the plant. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement of equipment and processes to maintain efficient production operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to production lines, assembly equipment and utilities. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production facilities, machines and automation systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical distribution systems, production equipment and plant facilities. Support installation, testing, commissioning and continuous improvement of production machinery and electrical infrastructure. Ensure compliance with electrical statutory regulations, safety standards and certification requirements. Maintain and update electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation. Assist in energy management and electrical efficiency projects to reduce operational cost and improve reliability. Provide technical guidance and training to production and maintenance teams on safe electrical practices and troubleshooting techniques. Liaise with contactors, suppliers and local authorities on electrical facility compliance and maintenance works.

QUALIFICATION:-

Tertiary education, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Possesses relevant electrical competency certificates (e.g. Chargeman, wireman) is highly preferred. 3-5 years of working experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing, assembly or energy related industries. Hands-on experience in power systems, wiring harness, control panels and electrical safety management. Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting will be highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulatory requirements and exposure to ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 will be an advantage. Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, plant startup environment. The candidate must be willing to work in Jeram, Kuala Selangor.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
