Job responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for data centre operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform electrical load calculations and power distribution analysis to optimize energy efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, IT, and cooling systems. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and reports for electrical systems and projects. Support the installation and commissioning of electrical infrastructure, including generators, UPS systems, and switchgear. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.


Job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in data centre or critical infrastructure environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and energy management principles. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar platforms. Familiarity with industry standards and codes, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
