Electrical Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our construction project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical works to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with approved specifications and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and supervise electrical works for construction projects. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities. Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and safety compliance. Attend site meetings and provide technical support to the project team. Ensure electrical installations comply with local codes, standards, and regulations. Prepare progress reports, method statements, and material submissions. Resolve site technical issues and provide corrective solutions. Perform testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. BEM Registered. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry. Experience in building services / infrastructure / high-rise projects is an advantage. Familiar with local authority requirements, and safety regulations. Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Good communication and coordination skills. Willing to be site-based and travel if required.

Working hours : 8am -5pm (Monday - Saturday)
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
