\xe2\x80\xa2 Possess a Degree, Diploma (subject to consideration) or the equivalent qualification to a degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university or institution. \xe2\x80\xa2 He is an Electrical Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers \xe2\x80\xa2 Has not less than five (10) years working experience in an environment where electrical equipment is in operation and has had experience of controlling live equipment preferable in Oil & Gas plant / platform. \xe2\x80\xa2 Has sufficient knowledge of modern electrical engineering practice, including the principles of operation of equipment used for generation, transmission, distribution, utilisation, protection and metering in electrical installation and energy efficiency management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Hand-on, sufficient knowledge and practice on Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) especially electrical troubleshooting tasks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Has sufficient knowledge of first aid, resuscitation and treatment of electric shock. \xe2\x80\xa2 Has sufficient knowledge of the Ordinance and any rules made by Chief Electrical Inspector. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong personal and interpersonal skills with flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of operations support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skills for working with understanding and motivating Malaysian national personnel.
