Department Overview TETRA Engineering - HW Engineering
(IOS replacement)



1. Responsible for design and development or post design activities of highly sophisticated communications products for professional and mission critical markets. Specifically, the role is an Electrical HW engineer to develop RF sub-circuits to meet stringent Specifications. This includes RF development and debugging to ensure the production and supply is not interrupted in particular, areas of receivers, transmitters, VCOs, and frequency mixers and generation circuit or Digital Development, in areas of display, audio, interface peripheral integration with the device.

2. Responsible to perform electrical testing and validation plan, as well as generating the detail documentation for test. Evaluate and analyze radio design, utilizing engineering equipment such as analyzers and oscilloscope, run simulation, experiments and etc. Perform necessary technical analysis and make decisions to provide appropriate solutions or alternatives within the time limits and follow up the resolution completion.

3. Responsible in generating the part specifications, BOM, test report and documentations,.

4. Engage in prototype bring-up and debugging, manufacturing support, regulatory and reliability certification & standard.

Basic Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.

2. 2 - 3 years working experience in Electrical / Electronics design.

3. Good analytical skill & understanding of schematics diagram.

4. Excellent problem solving and inter team coordination skill.

5. Customer focused and result oriented.

6. Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers / regional teams.

7. Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to multi-task, analytical, self motivated and a good team player.

8. Strong inter-personal skills.
