We are Malayan Flour Mills Berhad, an established billions ringgit public listed food manufacturing company. We aspire to be a leading food manufacturing enterprise in the region and have also diversified its business from flour milling to the sale of raw materials and integrated poultry business. Its integrated poultry business includes the breeding and sale of day-old chicks, broiler and breeder farming, processing and sale of poultry products and feeds milling. To provide all control system engineering related support such as troubleshooting current control system issues, preliminary root cause finding for communicating to vendor and to assist HOD in improvement projects both internally and externally with regards to industrial automation (IR4.0) & control system stability for the company.

• Responsible for research, design, and management of the development of the equipment used to monitor and control the systems and machinery.
• Support production & operations on any control system related issues & matters from time to time.
• Construct and implement system architectures in industrial automation while being responsible for development of hardware and software for control equipment.
• Develop, write, and optimize PLC, HMI, Vision and Robot programs etc
• Perform daily operation data recording, analyze data and plan effective executions.
• Identify areas of improvement to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of machines and facilities.
• Control and perform maintenance of existing controls & related system both hardware & software
• To support process improvement projects such as installation, upgrade or modification of plant equipment whenever required
• Observe all safety regulations & procedures to ensure a safe work environment and always use the right equipment & protection gears
• Involvement & communication with both internal & external stakeholders/vendors to design/modify a complete control system
• Acquire knowledge on the process flow, machineries & equipment operations, and the required maintenance, as well as the necessary skills through on-the-job training and correspondent courses.
• Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical / electronic / mechanical work and processes.
• Programming skills in languages \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8blike C,

, Javascript, Python, PLC ladder, Matlab, HMI * Knowledge of electrical theory, control components, robotics, and automation

• Ability to calibrate controls, communications, and diagnostics as needed
• Stay up-to-date on technological advancements
• Application of modern control theory to an autonomous system
• Ability to identify, maintain, and utilize SCADA systems and KPIs
