The Energy Efficiency (EE) Engineer - EE Department is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems for energy efficiency (EE) projects. This role focuses on power distribution, energy audit, energy management, grid integration, and compliance with industry standards. The EE Engineer collaborates with internal teams, regulatory agencies, clients, and vendors to ensure the safe and efficient execution of EE projects, supporting the company's goal of promting sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test electrical systems for EE projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct load calculations, power distribution planning, and grad integration studies for indutrial equipment's includes HVAC, motors;lighting and etc.
Plan, oragnize,lead internal team to implement site measurement plans and deploy instruments to measure parameters such as water flow rate, water pressure, energy consumption, temperature, etc.
Perform on-site energy efficiency audits to identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) ON HVAC systems (Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units).
Develop electrical efficiency strategies, including power factor correction, smart metering, and energy management systems (EMS).
Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, commissioning, and testing of EE systems.
Conduct on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance assessments.
Ensure all electrical work meets ISO,IEC,IEEE, and local energy regulations.
Work closely with the project team, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical challenges.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and project teams. Ensure all electrical components and installations comply with national and international codes ( ISO 50001, IEC 61851, IEEE 2030.5, etc).
Prepare and submit electrical safety documentation, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
Monitor and track licensing and certification requirements for electrical components.
Stay updated on emerging EE technologies, smart grids, and energy storage advancements.
Conduct research on improving power efficiency, battery performance, and charging infrastructure.
Develop pilot research and prototypes to enhance the company's green energy solutions.
Collaborate with research institutions and industry experts to explore innovative eletrical engineering solutions.
Carries out other special projects and ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors and management.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Energy Management or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in power distribution, eletrical design, or energy efficiency solution
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, M&E systems, energy- saving technologies, monitoring systems.
Experience with eletrical load analysis, grid connection studies, and power system design software.
Strong understanding of power electronics, transformers, circuit protection, and control systems.
Ability to conduct eletrical safety audits, risk assessmemts, and regulatort compliance checks.
