Job description
In your new role you will:
- Conduct day to day technical support and administration task on global network infrastructure and services
- Responsible for the event and alarming handling for global network Infrastructure devices
- Conduct day to day operation tasks such as resolve Incident tickets, remedy task and change request
- Provide a 3-tiered response, analysis, and resolution for dated issues and seek appropriate solutions for issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning in network infrastructure
- Perform check and fix the network configuration compliance check
- Perform Network logging check in weekly basis
- Provide remote support to the network regional team on any network-related issue that cannot be solved
- Be responsible for documentation and reporting
- Participate in Global On-Call rotation 24/7 or whenever necessary
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor\'s Degree with emphasis in an IT related field or the equivalent skill
- Minimum 1-2 years of network experience preferred
- Competence in the area of basic device setup based on template or guidance, basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking technologies, basic hardware, software and config troubleshooting of network equipment include basic understanding of Network Protocols
- Strong and hands-on knowledge and skills in network administration
- Ability to perform well under pressure
