ENGINEER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (INFRA)
DAIKIN ELECTRONIC DEVICES MALAYSIA SDN BHD (DAIKIN GROUP)JOB DESCRIPTIONKey Roles & Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Perform routine server maintenance, including updates, backups, and security patches.
• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
• Implement and oversee our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure compliance with Daikin security standards and practices.
• Respond to and resolve network and server security issues.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with the latest industry security standards.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and network maps.
• Provide technical support and guidance on network and security issues to other departments.

Reporting To: Manager, Information TechnologyRequirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network and server maintenance, as well as in managing ISMS.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP) and network security measures.
• Experience with firewalls, routers, and VPN technologies.
• Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 8) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
