In your new role you will: * Conduct installation, configuration and operation of the complex Linux/Unix infrastructure within our global data centers (Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu, Solaris, HPUX) * Perform installation, configuration In your new role you will: Conduct installation, configuration and operation of the complex Linux/Unix infrastructure within our global data centers (Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu, Solaris, HPUX) Perform installation, configuration and operation of the high availability solutions used within our global data centers (HP Serviceguard, Oracle Cluster) Create and design reliable IT infrastructures according to given SLA specifications Execute automation and continuous optimization of all technical processes (Shell, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, GIT, Bitbucket) Perform availability and performance monitoring including creation and customization of dashboards and alerts (Kibana, Zabbix) Carry out error analysis and problem solving as part of 2nd and 3rd level support in cooperation with our internal customers Support for IT security to implement the hardening/ protection of the server systems and the services running on them Have close cooperation with colleagues from other areas of the international infrastructure team to optimize the landscape Provide technology consulting for our internal customers, as well as the creation of concepts and their implementation Independent takeover of (partial) projects from the design phase through development to productive use Conduct creation of technical documentation, education and training material (Confluence) Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor Degree of Information Technology/ Computer Science 1-3 years of experience with Linux/ Unix administration Experience with the following tools: Ansible, Rundeck, Foreman, Puppet, Linux, HPUX, Solaris, Service Guard Experience in Dev Ops is an added advantage Fresh graduates with passion and a strong affinity for DevOps and Datacenter Infrastructure support will be considered Good presentation and communication skills in English Teamwork spirit but also able to be independent and have a structured, methodical way of working Project Management experience will be an added advantage Willingness to be on call outside of normal working hours Willingness to travel Benefits What we offer you in Melaka Melaka is our biggest production site wordwide with more than 7000 employees.
