Lubricants Manufacturing Process Engineer

-Provide process engineering and technical support to:

-ExxonMobil\xe2\x80\x99s global manufacturing sites
-Capital projects ensuring efficient use of capital
-Lead or support troubleshooting or improvement opportunities for value capture
-Mentor less experienced engineers, and proactively share technical and organizational knowledge

-Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Chemical Engineering
-3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical or refining industry
-Experience in solvent extraction, solvent dewaxing, hydroprocessing, hydrocracking, deasphalthing and/or distillation is preferred
-Working knowledge or experience in one or more of the following:

-Manufacturing or operations support experience including monitoring, troubleshooting, asset support, projects and turnarounds
-Process and equipment design including use of process simulation package

Hindsight Economist

-Execute the monthly backcasting/lookback process, to analyze, identify opportunities and to present them to the sites driving improvement in molecule management and profitability.
-Responsible for making tool improvements e.g. configuration/tag changes, planning case set up improvements, model biasing, etc.
-Work closely with Site Sr Economists to understand the opportunities identified by the lookback analysis and execute the follow ups.
-Work closely with Modeling & Optimization engineers to understand the potential gaps in planning model, investigate further and make necessary adjustments to the model.

-Degree in Chemical Engineering.
-More than 5 years of experience working in Refinery/Petrochemical manufacturing site, including production planning and scheduling.
-Experience with planning tools (e.g. LP models) and manufacturing economics knowledge preferred.
