\xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support on planning the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project, and construction practices and problems to ensure project success, value for money and best practice are achieved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains and monitors the progress of work and advises the Project Engineer of significant changes and proposed remedial action. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review, recommend subcontractor and supplier progress payments and provides input to cost recoveries and subcontractor variation claims. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and ensure daily works activities are undertaken in accordance with all permits, approvals, design drawings, specifications and work management plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the Construction Manager in the planning, execution and handover of project deliverables. This includes ensuring these objectives are completed within the key time, cost and quality provisions or conditions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation of Work Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, Safe Work Methods Statements (SWMS), Construction Procedures and Site Access Plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Response to Engineering queries through fabrication, construction, TQ\xe2\x80\x99s, PP\xe2\x80\x99s CO\xe2\x80\x99s and FOB\xe2\x80\x99s. \xe2\x80\xa2 In liaison with the Construction Manager, accurately record the daily progress, material deliveries and daily site resources pertaining to all site works, including subcontract works. This will also include as a minimum accurate record of any delays or reasons for delays and additional works (variations) and day works. \xe2\x80\xa2 To attend site meetings and provide assistance for the project manager with any required civil engineering works. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that the Contractor and Client\xe2\x80\x99s quality requirements are met in relation to the performance of activities defined in the Scope of Work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishing close external relationship with client and liaising with the Client Engineers on all technical matters.
