Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and achievement of output targets. Analyse production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize production cost. Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to production teams and machine operators. Assist in developing and implementing SOPs, work instructions, and process control plans. Monitor machine performance, production quality, and material usage to ensure compliance with standards. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methods. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams on process optimization and product development. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA, etc.). Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and production line balancing to support operational planning. Prepare production reports, performance analysis, and improvement recommendations for management. Coordinate training for operators on new processes, equipment, and quality requirements.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields. Familiar with manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, injection molding, stamping, Precast, or as relevant to industry). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies. Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Good communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
