Job description: Your Contribution This position as a Production Engineer offers a platform to develop a strong foundation in manufacturing processes, optimize operations, and collaborate with different teams. Requires knowledge and experience on the glass properties and in glass manufacturing, capable to solve complex problems. Process Optimization: Implement and maintain production process flow, continually improving operations to enhance quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings. Documentation and Data Management: Develop and manage manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standards, procedures, and data charts, to ensure accurate and efficient production. Problem Investigation: Investigate operational issues impacting production and troubleshoot processes to identify and implement effective solutions. Cost Reduction and Equipment Enhancement: Identify opportunities to reduce production costs through recommendations such as new process equipment and improved manufacturing process times, collaborating with design engineering for cost-effective and efficient product design. Collaboration and Training: Work with relevant departments and establish a training and quality culture, fostering continuous improvement through methodologies like kaizen and Training Within Industry (TWI). Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs. Your Profile Degree in Mechanical, manufacturing, material engineering. At least 5 years experience in glass manufacturing. Knowledge in glass, Data Analysis, Root cause analysis Demonstrate good skill in written and in verbal communication. Able to create presentations and technical reports. Proactive and good interpersonal skill, able to work as a team with other departments.
