Job Description

• Investigate and identify various failure modes that can occur in PCBAs during manufacturing, testing, or operation.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. By identifying recurring failure patterns, assessing failure trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, they contribute to enhancing product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to determine why a failure occurred. This involves conducting detailed inspections, using diagnostic tools (such as microscopes, X-ray equipment, and thermal imaging), conducting electrical tests (such as ICT/FCT/CTS), and analysing data to pinpoint the underlying causes of failures.
• Provide expertise in failure analysis to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of FMEA processes, especially in identifying critical failure modes that require special attention and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of failure analysis activities, including test results, RCA reports, CAPA documentation, and lessons learned.
• Contribute failure analysis insights to drive design changes, process improvements, and quality control measures that result in tangible improvements in product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and standards related to failure analysis and root cause investigation.
• To carry out any other duties as directed by the company.

Reporting To: Manager, Quality AssuranceRequirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• CGPA Requirement: 3.00 - 4.00 (Second class Upper- & First-Class Honour).
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Able to organize effective team meetings to achieve meeting objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers and various functions.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
