Job Description

You love technology and find joy in pulling on one string with like-minded people? You work well in cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment? Then this is exactly the right job for you: as a Yield & Product Engineer you will perform analysis of new product performance prior to production release and provide detailed status reports at each phase (test limit - guard band, correlation and yield summary reports). Moreover, you will be responsible for having close interaction with Product Test Engineering team and communicating technical product status to management.

In your new role you will:

Analyze the probe test

/ final test data

Perform yield enhancement and analysis and disposition

of maverick material (MPE)

Develop and implement test plans

and procedures for power transistors to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards

Root cause investigation of low yield

through systematic analysis and support other engineering groups with NPI

Driving cost reduction activities

such as reduction of screening, yield improvement, test time reduction, etc.

Work with reliability and quality team

for analysis of RMA customer returns

Be responsible for following up with foundries and

test subcontractors/test houses to resolve all production issues

Provide product development support

which involves interfacing with design, test engineering, quality engineering and others

Contribute to project plans

by providing time-scale estimates

Manage own time and assigned resources

to meet timescales and quality objectives

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:


A

university degree in electrical engineering

or a related discipline, with

0-3 years of experience

in a semiconductor company

Detailed understanding of semiconductor product life cycle

from post silicon bring up, device characterization, qualification, pre-production support, release to volume production and product sustenance

Knowledge of semiconductor technology

and

(fabrication) process

Proficient in at least one statistical analysis tool

(JMP, spotfire, Vidas, etc.)

Experience with GaN

or other compound semiconductor devices strongly desired

Understanding of statistical analysis techniques

(SPC, CPK, CPU, CPL, etc)

Strong test development skills

along with the ability to define hardware/ software needs for debug as a plus

Understanding electronic circuits (schematics)

is a plus

Experience in python programming

is a plus
