Job Description

Perform critical or complex assembly tasks. Assemble, test, and verify product functionality in accordance with approved engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Support prototype, engineering validation (EV/DV), pilot production builds during NPI phases and builds in Mass production. Provide technical feedback to engineers on process improvement, design for assembly (DFA), and tooling enhancements. Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for assembly-related issues. Support process setup, machine or fixture validation, and work instruction development. Ensure all assembly activities comply with product quality requirements, SOPs, and safety standards. Record and report any deviation, non-conformance, or abnormal process behavior immediately to the responsible engineer. Assist in performing first article inspection, measurement verification, and test result recording. Propose and support implementation of process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency, yield, and ergonomics. Support DOE (Design of Experiment) or trial runs assigned by engineers. Maintain good 6S practices within assigned work areas. Maintain accurate records of assembly operations, process parameters, and build data. Assist in updating and verifying assembly work instructions, check sheets, and training materials.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in precision assembly or production engineering support. Strong understanding of assembly tools, torque control, and measurement equipment. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and process documentation. Knowledge in DOE, PFMEA, and problem-solving (5 Why, Fishbone) is an advantage. Hands-on, meticulous, and safety-conscious mindset.
