, we are a fast-growing plant-based milk contract manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality, sustainable products for health-conscious consumers. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a qualified, dedicated and hands-on Engineering Assistant Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the engineering department in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment and utilities to ensure smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
To oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot the Ready to Drink (RTD) Filler machine, packaging line/robotic, VTIS Processing, pilot plant, and UHT processing.
Responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance tasks assigned by the Engineer/HOD
Ensure all factory production equipment, both mechanical and electrical, is in proper operating condition.
Be on standby during shift work and report directly to the Engineer/HOD when equipment requires repair or adjustment.
Work together with the manufacturing team when repairing equipment, and seek assistance from the fitter if needed.
Report any abnormalities in factory equipment to the Engineer or HOD so that appropriate action can be taken.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all related equipment to ensure optimum performance and minimal downtime.
Maintain accurate logbooks and records for audits and reporting purposes.
Identify and troubleshoot system faults and breakdowns.
Escalate major issues to superiors and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Update daily, weekly, and monthly operation checklist
Required to provide call-back service if the need arises during emergency.
Any other duties as instructed by immediate superior or Pure Mylk Management
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in food processing. Strong understanding of food manufacturing processing
Possessed working experiences in manufacturing or food & beverage industry is an advantages
Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and automation systems.
Able to work in a team-oriented environment with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read P&ID, electrical diagrams, and O&M manuals
Good housekeeping practices and adherence to safety protocols.
Able to work on shifts, weekends, during emergencies when required.
