Job Summary
Lead and coordinate engineering and design activities for Topside & Facilities (T&F) and Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Telecommunication (EICT) disciplines. Ensure all project and bidding engineering tasks meet client requirements efficiently and on schedule.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage engineering and design work across Conceptual Engineering, Engineering Definition, FEED, and Detailed Design to deliver safe, robust, and cost-effective solutions.
Review, finalise, and take responsibility for the Master Deliverable Register, calculations, engineering analyses, drawings, and specifications throughout all project phases.
Provide technical input for vessel inspections, assessments, and engineering workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model reviews, and risk studies to meet client and project specifications.
Oversee engineering and design changes in line with agreed Management of Change procedures and contractual requirements.
Support project proposal development by providing technical input on CAPEX and schedules.
Monitor interfaces across all disciplines and external parties including clients, classification bodies, regulators, vendors, and consultants.
Lead preparation of the Engineering Execution Plan (EEP) and ensure alignment with client expectations.
Contribute to the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and other project documents where required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering fields.
Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (minimum: Graduate Engineer).
Preferably a Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer with recognised accreditation.
At least 15 years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience.
Involvement in at least one FPSO/FPU/FPS project.
Minimum 5 years in a managerial or engineering leadership role.
Experience across Conceptual, Definition, FEED, and Detailed Engineering stages.
