Primary Purpose of the Position

• Responsible for overall operations of Engineering Store related to maintenance of Stock items, records, replenishment, and repair of engineering store items, follow up delivery to ensure spare on hand in order to minimize machine downtime.
• Review stock on hand, minimum and maximum quantity required, on order/open order and slow-moving to get objective goal level daily and monthly.
• Responsible for internal communication within the facility for any requests related to stock items.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, control, and coordinate the flow of Spare parts received and issued.
• Verify the accuracy of materials requisition to ensure materials are in accordance to our specifications and requirement
• Reordering spare parts and items based on maximum, ROP, and minimum level of all stock items to maintain a regular supply of materials to the originator, avoiding downtime and production, and checking against usages. Daily reconciliation if any.
• Maintain and communicate daily with Purchasing in order to expedite pending orders and critical items, including all Engineering spares and Operating supplies.
• Review obsolete or surplus items and furnish reports on a timely basis
• Handle, control, and review of coding classification of spare parts to avoid duplication
• Ensure the process of monthly physical inventory of all class spare parts is done and any other duties assigned by Managers/HOD/FC.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma level of Engineering
• Having at least 3 years experience in a related area
• Detail oriented
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-initiative and good team player
• Good knowledge of Inventory Management
• Knowledge and experience of SAP
