Job Description

:Job Summary:onsemi is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Engineer whose responsibilities will focus on MPD (Protection and Small Signal products) for Power Solutions Group. The following are key areas associated with our PE organization:

• Product owner, a Primary point of contact of the assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.

• Leading Cost Entitlement and Yield Entitlement on gap analysis to innovate improvement opportunities.

• Product Swimlane Owner or Project leader role in FAB/Assembly/Test transfer program.

• New Product Development - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, qualify and driving the product technical deliverables to achieve the project part release timeline.

Responsibilities:Core Responsibility

• Support and lead development and implementation of strategies to achieve profitability targets on assigned product lines through new products development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects.

• Responsible for all aspects of engineering activities associated with portfolio management.

• Primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, manufacturing, quality, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.

• Take ownership for resolving customer quality and application issues on assigned product lines.

• Lead and facilitate cross function teams for problem solving. This includes coordination activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals.

• Take leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving

Qualifications:Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics discipline.

• Must be knowledgeable in semiconductor device physics, wafer fabrication and assembly & test manufacturing processes.

• Position demands excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

• Possess track record of effective problem-solving, good engineering judgment and decision-making skills.

• Must be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.

• Strongly driven to produce results in timely fashion and having strong sense of competitive urgency.

• With minimum 5 years relevant experience.

• Prior working experience in Wafer Fab or Assy / Test industry is an added advantage
