Job Description

: Maintain and develop, if required, compliance-related policies and procedures based on EHS requirements of site personnel, visitors and contractors. Provide EHS direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure site EHS improvements. Develop and implement site workplace inspections and audits to identify work hazards and exposures. Determine trends and action plans for remediation and corrective actions. Maintain regulatory documentation and records. Provide co-ordination and leadership in response to incidents. Review and assist in the development of new facilities and processes to ensure optimum EHS practices are integrated as part of the change. Select and manage consultants and/or contractors for specialized EHS related work. Perform related duties as assigned. Flexibility regarding any other duties which may be required from time to time. Work within the Company\'s EHS policies and practices. Participation in budget preparation and tracking, establishing and monitoring progress toward department goals. Facilitation of program objectives completion by providing clear, continuous direction and identifying needed support from outside consultants, developing scopes of work. Ensuring timely EHS monthly report to Global EHS. EHS data management, enforcement action response, and regulatory agency mediation. Leading EHS team, which includes several technical and administrative level positions. Coordination and engagement of EHS personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS goals which will positively impact and add value to the organization. Ensure plant operations, equipment; process and material comply with regulatory requirement. Ensure his/her subordinate work closely with all other department. Incident investigation and EHS related to data trending for management and regulatory reporting on timely basis. Establish good rapport with all related government agencies and authorities. Job Related Experience: EHS related working experience. Experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an advantage. Minimum experience in budget preparation. Minimum experience in coordination, development and implementation of Company goals which will positively impact and add value to the organization. Education: Master in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or General Science discipline with minimum 1 year working experience related to Environmental, Health and Safety. Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or General Science discipline with minimum 2 years working experience related to Environmental, Health and Safety. Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or General Science discipline with minimum 5 years working experience related to Environmental, Health and Safety. Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM), or competent in any Environmental discipline or Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO). Mandarin literate will be an advantage.
