Human by nature.EHS Manager - Your future position?As the EHS Manager , you will be involved in directing and supporting the management of all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions at the site, ensuring compliance with Givaudan\'s EHS policies and processes, as well as all applicable EHS regulations. Key responsibilities include managing risks and fostering cultural change to minimize the likelihood of EHS incidents, optimizing the EHS organization to deliver added value to the company, and promoting a strong EHS culture throughout the organization. You will report to the Head of Plant Operations while based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:Provide support and guidance to site management on all EHS aspects, acting as a coach to line managers to ensure EHS is recognized and maintained as a line responsibility.Develop and implement an EHS vision aligned with the company\'s strategy for the site, considering both OPS/EHS Global Strategy initiatives and local legislation.Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations.Oversee all site EHS training for new and existing employees and contractors.Implement behavior-based safety programs.Ensure strict adherence to safety and health programs.Maintain effective emergency planning.Accurately complete and submit all regulatory reports.Ensure comprehensive KPI reporting and initiate actions to achieve agreed targets.Track site safety behavioral audits and incidents, analyze trends in audits, incidents, and near-miss reports, and report findings to the management team.Lead the employee safety committee to promote safety awareness and drive the resolution of identified safety issues.Manage all hazardous and non-hazardous waste activities.Oversee all required documentation.Foster positive relationships with relevant external stakeholders, including authorities, communities, and networks.Serve as the primary contact for federal, state, and local EHS regulatory agencies.Act as the main point of contact with other departments, including Regulatory, IT, and the regional management team.You?Are you someone who wants to grow and shape your own world? Then come and join us - and impact your world.Your professional profile includes:Master\'s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or a related field.7 to 10 years of work experience in EHS within manufacturing-related industries.Relevant country-specific EHS qualifications and certifications would be advantageous.Expertise in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control.Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis, Process Safety Management, besides experience in conducting audits and Gemba Walks in factories.Familiarity with Health & Safety Management and Emergency Management.Proven leadership experience to guide and manage a team of subordinates.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems such as SAP, ERP etc.Demonstrated independence, strong sense of responsibility and accountability for actions and decisions.Maturity in handling complex situations and effective stakeholder management skills.Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.Fluent in English; proficiency in the local language is essential.Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.Our BenefitsAttractive package with benefits.Excellent opportunities for progressive learning and development.A creative team environment that will inspire you.Comprehensive healthcare and retirement plan.#LI-Onsite#LI-YAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people\'s lives.
