Job Description


The Executive, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) will be assisting the EHS Manager to ensure the objectives of the overall OSH Management System are complied with in accordance with related regulations and legislation in the warehouse operations. This incumbent is also responsible for assisting and monitoring the development, direction, coordination, and overall management of the health, safety, environmental, and regulatory programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly being updated and familiar with all the applicable EHS legislation/standards and ensuring its compliance together with 45001 requirements.
  • To monitor the progress of ISO45001 and the Health & Safety performance of the company
  • Participate and assist in investigating incidents that occur at the workplace to determine root causes and corrective/preventive actions where necessary.
  • Promote and educate employees on EHS culture, standards, and expectations in line with the company OKR and Regional EHS team initiatives.
  • To observe, monitor, report, and follow up on Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRAC) events periodically.
  • To participate as Safety and Health Committee Members and actively contribute to all Safety and Health issue that arises.
  • To collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, or occupational poisoning/disease at the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Environmental, Safety, and Health or any other relevant studies.
  • At least three (3) years of related working experience in the EHS field Excellent understanding and knowledge of ISO 45001: 2018 and experience as an internal auditor or lead auditor (not necessarily but will be an additional advantage)
  • Good communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and report-writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Ready-to-learn attitude
