Job Description

You will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet all environmental regulations while minimizing our ecological footprint. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental policies, procedures, and programs. This role requires a proactive leader who can collaborate across departments, engage with external stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.

• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental strategies, policies, and programs that align with our sustainability goals.
• Conduct regular environmental assessments and audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders for environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance matters.
• Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for enhancement.
• Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on environmental-related matters.
• Lead environmental training and education initiatives to promote awareness and understanding of environmental issues among employees.
• Manage environmental projects and initiatives, including waste reduction, energy conservation, pollution prevention and water management.
• Develop and maintain an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Stay informed about emerging environmental trends, regulations, and best practices, making recommendations for program adjustments as needed.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hold any one of the certifications related to Environmental management such as CePSWAM, CePIETSO, CePSO, or similar credentials.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards at local, state, and federal levels.
• Experience with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and conducting environmental audits.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in environmental monitoring and reporting tools and software.
