Job Description

Plan and implement environmental control & provide enforcement support to the Project. Carry out necessary inspections and monitoring prior for compliance with legal requirements, EIA Approval Condition and EMP (Environmental Management Plan) Establish and maintain environmental related plan and procedures tailored to requirements from the authorities and projects Identify potential source of pollution and relevant environmental aspect impacts followed by proposing appropriate mitigation plans and supervise corrective measures to be taken Coordinate and monitor BMPs implementation and ensure as per outlined in ESCP To establish daily reports on environmental issues and after rainfall event exceed 12.5mm To maintain and develop, if required, the necessary EHS standards to ensure the environment of site personnel, visitors and contractors in control manner Liaise and communicate with authority department, client and also consultant on matter pertaining environment Conduct relevant awareness training and toolbox to educate project team and management on compliance to legal requirements. Prepare and maintain necessary documents to comply with EIA approval conditions, EMP, legal requirements and any additional requirements issued by local authorities. Organize environmental committee meeting on frequent basis and attend necessary meeting to outlined environmental committee meeting on frequent basis and attend necessary meeting to outline environmental matter to management. Ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent Candidate must have CISEC / CESSWI / LDP2M2 Competent Certificate Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position - Specialized in CONSTRUCTION work is an advantaged Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent Familiarize with Environmental Management System (EMS)
