Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and implement environmental management plans (EMP) at the project site
Ensure compliance with all
relevant environmental laws, regulations, and project approvals.
Conduct
site inspections, audits
, and
environmental risk assessments.
Assist in preparing and submitting
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
and
monitoring reports.
Coordinate with government agencies for site inspections and documentation.
Manage waste disposal, erosion control, water and air quality monitoring, and other environmental protection activities
Provide training and awareness programs to site personnel regarding environmental practices
Report any non-compliance issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements:
Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Minimum
2-3 years of working experience
in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of local environmental regulations and permitting procedures.
Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools, sampling procedures, and documentation.
Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Certified Environmental Professional (CePIETS, CePECSWQ, or equivalent)
Experience in projects with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
