Job Vacancy for Environmental Officer / Green Building Consultant in Penang

:

• Coordination with the client and consultant as well as contractor to obtain required information or data for green building scoring.
• Prepare environmental technical reports including EIAs, EMPs, and related reports.
• Supervise the required field work with the project team including. Environmental site investigations and baseline environmental monitoring.
• Liaison with DOE and other government agencies.
• Liaise with clients, project proponents and government agencies in the course of your projects.
• Prepare professional consultancy reports, proposals or presentation in different settings of engagements in acoustics, environmental assessments, sustainability consultancy and green building certifications
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Green Building, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• FRESH GRADUATE are encouraged to apply
• Applicants must be willing to work in Penang and travelling as required.
• Have CIDB Green Card certificate will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent skills in written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer modelling experience in green buildings design and assessment is an advantage (e.g. Energy, Daylighting and Lighting, CFD, Thermal Comfort and etc.).
• Knowledge and experience in GBI, GreenRE, MyCrest would be an added advantage.
