REQUIREMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER (EO) FOR PEMBINAAN BLOK TAMBAHAN HOSPITAL SERI MANJUNG, PERAK (REKA & BINA) - TENDER SEMULA List of Requirement: Qualification: Minimum Degree of Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Certification: Certified Erosion, Sediment, & StormWater Inspectors (CESSWI) or Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC) or Certified Professional Environmental Officer In EIA Project Development (CePEOEIA) or equivalent Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in environmental at project site Ability: Able to start work immediately Status: Contract period for 10 months Scope of Work: \xe2\x80\xa2 Adhere to all associated requirements stipulated in the Environmental Quality Act (1974) and associated regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring the implementation of EMP at the project site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Investigating any environmental problem (e.g. spills & pollution) complaints and non\xe2\x80\x90compliance with the regulatory and reporting to site management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Suggesting and implementing corrective actions and to mitigate environmental impact. \xe2\x80\xa2 Make awareness to site personnel on the important of environmental protection. \xe2\x80\xa2 Train and educate all personal entering and working on the site to work in a manner as to respect the surrounding environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Continually identify, reporting and record potential and presenting environmental issues on site and where appropriate recommend and implement solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Limit any project activities if potential or presenting environmental issues are identified until rectified; \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct and Supervise Environmental Monitoring at site every month. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the effectiveness of all control measures implementation, good housekeeping practice and other matters related to environmental management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare Environmental Quality Report every month for submission to contractor and JKR \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend meeting with JKR every month (Also you are required to attend meeting or site visit{s), whenever needed). \xe2\x80\xa2 You need to liaise with client, consultant and contractor while implementing your work.
