Job Description

1. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system. 2. To responsible to recommend & implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance to ESH legal requirements including customer requirements. 3. To communicate and liaison with relevant authorities. 4. To review and ensure the updated regulations by the authority are implemented. 5. To participate / lead the project team and staff to identify hazards, environmental aspects and the associated legal requirements. 6. To consult and encourage participation of workers and subcontractors for the feedback related to hazards and environmental aspects. 7. To carry out incident investigations and reporting to the relevant authority and management, to initiate corrective and preventive actions. 8. To assist to plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s activities at project sites. 9. To maintain good house keeping and implement safety practices. 10. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, constructions plan, procedures, work instructions etc. 11. To ensure that inspections and tests are carried out as per Inspections and Test Plan and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications. 12. To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval. 13. To assist site engineer to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites. 14. To prepare the claim for subcontractors and clients 15. To co-ordinate and monitor subcontractor activities at the project site. 16. To implement project operations and document control procedures. 17. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior. 18. Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking. 19. Ensuring that the QESHMS achieves its intended results.
