ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER (PART-TIME)

Location Working: Banting

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Responsible to prepare environmental reports to management and authority whenever required. To plan, schedule and manage environmental activities. Conduct environmental assessments to identify potential impacts and risks. Monitor and analyze pollution levels, waste management practices, and energy consumption. Recommend and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability. Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental practices and procedures. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with environmental permits and licenses. Liaise with the local authority (Department of Environment, Local City Council, Health Department and etc.) to maintain company progressive standard and requirement. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess environmental performance. Develop and maintain environmental management systems and records. Stay updated on environmental regulations and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent in a related field. A minimum of 2 years working experience in relevant field. Must register with either CESSWI or CISEC Must be familiar with DOE Act Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance procedures. Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week
