\xc2\xb7 Overseeing and coordinating waste disposal, waste collection and recycling activities in an efficient and environmentally-friendly manner \xc2\xb7 Providing the skills and knowledge required to assess occupational competence in various areas of the waste management industry, including waste collection, site operatives and supervisory roles \xc2\xb7 Managing daily operations of fleets of waste management crews (compactors and RORO bin Lorries) and cleaners to achieve highest standard of works and optimizing operation cost. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring waste management schemes are implemented effectively and legal requirements are upheld \xc2\xb7 Overseeing the transportation of waste to ensure its efficiency and prevent contamination \xe2\x80\x93 of air, land or water \xc2\xb7 Using national waste strategy and policy to inform plans for waste collection, disposal, and minimisation and recycling \xc2\xb7 Advising the company on the likely impact of new legislation, policies and initiatives \xc2\xb7 Locating areas in which waste management is problematic and devising solutions \xc2\xb7 Establishing safety procedures and strict adherence for waste management crews and cleaners in line with OSHA act and others statutory requirements eg: Immigrations, Local Authority and SWCorp. \xc2\xb7 Conducting in-house training for workers and supervisors on effective and efficient working procedure in line with existing KPIs set up authority /customers and new requirements from time to time.
