We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer (SAP HANA) to join our current team in Bangsar South. As a Senior Engineer, you will have the primary responsibility to roll out of technical and functional aspects of the Business Intelligence solution in SAP HANA.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver on a BI reporting strategy based on Native HANA that supports future-state goals while optimizing the current service portfolio.
2. Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models and views, monitor data load via SAP SDS, and maintaining SAP BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities.
3. Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and externally.
4. Own, drive, and effectively facilitate business meetings, concurrent project commitments, and project schedules.
5. Liaise with Security and Basis teams to provide the necessary authorizations for the users to access the reports, collaborate discussion on SAP HANA system stability, and train the users as and when needed to view the reports.
 
Requirements
1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in preferably Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Candidates with a minimum of 3 years solid experience in SAP BW and SAP BW on HANA Development & Support.
3. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear passion for Business Intelligence and Analytics. You will be a team player, proactive, an effective communicator with the ability to work in the development team and manage other development resources.
Candidates may also be required to work with international clients or counterparts.

Relevant Skillset:
1. Possess a solid understanding of the overall SAP BI application portfolio (SAP SDS, SAP HANA, SAP BOBJ), and general IT application portfolio.
2. Proven ability in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in SAP HANA, SAP SDS, and integration with BI tools and different source systems (Salesforce, Click, Flat File).
3. 3+ years of experience in developing / maintaining / delivering BI solutions using SAP HANA. Having experience in SAP SDS and SAP BOBJ is an added advantage.
Solid experience with hands-on skills in Native SAP HANA modeler, building graphical and scripted calculation views.
Prior experience with quantity and currency conversions for value and amount measures in the HANA models.
4. Familiarity with methods to sourcing data (HANA SDA and SDI) from SAP and non-SAP systems into HANA.
 
Desirable  
1. Involvement in SAP Community and working in Agile environment.
2. Knowledge /experience in a consumption-based billing environment.
