Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end EPC process for large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies for renewable energy projects, with a focus on innovative engineering solutions that align with company objectives and optimise cost-efficiency.
  • Spearhead the creation and management of project execution plans, ensuring that all projects meet timelines, budgets, and client requirements.
  • Manage the engineering design process for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and lead a diverse team of project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and construction professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project success.
  • Lead construction teams to ensure safe, timely, and on-budget project delivery while proactively addressing potential risks and challenges.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols that surpass industry benchmarks and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, ensuring project goals are met and strong relationships are maintained.
  • Drive continuous process improvements within the EPC function, enhancing project delivery efficiency and reducing overall costs.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives by implementing innovative strategies to minimize carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency across all projects.
  • Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with project goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in EPC management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, with a track record of delivering large-scale solar, wind, or energy storage projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong expertise in engineering design, procurement, and construction management, particularly in the context of renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive project success.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and quality assurance within an EPC environment.
  • Deep commitment to sustainability, with a focus on integrating innovative, eco-friendly solutions into project designs and operations.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to optimise project delivery processes.
