Environment, Safety & Health

\xe2\x96\xaa Carry out Safety & Health duties as stipulated in OSH Act 1994
\xe2\x96\xaa Carry out Environment Officer duties as stipulated in Environmental Quality Act 1974
\xe2\x96\xaa Carry out environment, safety and health gemba at the shopfloor and ensure actions taken on findings.
\xe2\x96\xaa Lead and ensure employees participation at all levels in improving environment, safety and health of workplace.
\xe2\x96\xaa Propose and conduct program to increase culture on environment, safety & health of employees, contractors and other stakeholders.
\xe2\x96\xaa Prepare and ensure information on relevant environment, safety & health issues communicated to employees.
\xe2\x96\xaa Monitor and ensure compliances to ESH related Act, Regulations & other requirements.
\xe2\x96\xaa Managing and carry out internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO14001, ISO45001, Corporate ESH requirements and Customer requirements on environment, safety & health.
\xe2\x96\xaa Managing and ensure EASI & HIRARC are update especially when there are new machines, incidents, and new process.
\xe2\x96\xaa Carry out investigation on accident, incident & near-miss cases, identify and follow-up on corrective & preventive actions.
\xe2\x96\xaa Conduct analysis accident and identify action plan to achieve ZERO accident.
\xe2\x96\xaa Auditing canteen to ensure hygiene and health is maintained.

Fire Protection & Loss Prevention

\xe2\x96\xaa Implemented and maintained fire protection equipment and programmes.
\xe2\x96\xaa Establish and Managing contingency plans & facilities to facilitate and protect human and environmental related losses.
\xe2\x96\xaa Carry out training programs, environmental strategies and activities that will ensure continuious compliance status.
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure fire certificate annual renewal by Department of Fire & Rescue Malaysia.

Quality, Environment, Safety and Health Management System

• Ensuring that all Quality, Environment, Safety and Health management system conform with requirements of International Standard (ISO 9001, IATF 169497, IS014001 and ISO 45001) by adhering to clause related to Roles & Responsibilities.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering Discipline / Environmental Science / Occupational Safety & Health.
