Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1. Pre-Event Planning



Client Liaison

: Communicate with clients to understand event requirements, preferences, and expectations.

Menu Coordination

: Collaborate with chefs and sales teams to finalize menus based on event type, dietary needs, and budget.

Scheduling

: Maintain a calendar of upcoming events, ensuring no overlaps and adequate preparation time.

Staff Allocation

: Plan and assign staff roles (e.g., servers, kitchen crew, runners) based on event size and complexity.

Logistics & Operations



Order Accuracy

: Ensure all client orders are correctly translated into kitchen instructions.

Setup Coordination

: Work with kitchen teams to align food preparation, presentation, and delivery.

Venue Preparation

: Oversee layout, decor, and equipment setup (buffet lines, chafing dishes, signage, etc.).

On-Site Execution



Client Interaction

: Act as the main point of contact for clients during the event, handling requests and feedback.

Problem Solving

: Address last-minute changes, delays, or issues calmly and efficiently.

Post-Event Duties



Debriefing

: Conduct post-event reviews with the team to identify successes and areas for improvement.

Administrative & Support Tasks



Documentation

: Prepare event briefs and checklists.

Compliance

: Ensure food safety, hygiene, and SOP standards are upheld throughout the event.

Who we are looking for



Minimum Degree/Diploma, preferably in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Have prior experience in catering event, F&B industry or any related industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply showcasing your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and relevant skills/experiences gained during studies and internships.

Able to work during weekends and public holidays when necessary.

Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Project. Good communication skills and proactive

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
